SILVER CUP PRESENTED TO WW1 FIGHTER ACE THEODOR OSTERKAMP BY HERMANN GORING

A small silver cup presented to Great War ace Theodor Osterkamp by Hermann Goring on 11 September 1936. Osterkamp commanded Marine Feld Jagdstaffel 2 in ww1 and was a 32 victory ace. He joined the Luftwaffe in 1933:

To one side is a WW1 Landflieger pilot's badge motif, to the other Goring’s coat of arms. Below the coat of arms is a dedication to Osterkamp from Goering and the date 19 September 1936.

Cup height is 9cm and has an Imperial German 800 silver marks and is stamped ‘WtB’ for Wilhelm T Binder.
