A folder of 8 WW1 photos in their original folder labelled ‘Exhibit A Curtis Machine Italy’.
Photos show various Curtis flying boats, most with additional notes in red ink. Appears to be a manufacturers evaluation of such for aircraft being manufactured or tested in Italy. The United States had a strong presence of naval aircraft based in Italy during WW1 with aircraft and crew being tested their as well as serving on the Italian Front. Folder 30 x 22cm, photos 25 x 20cm.
