Full medal write up
WW1 RNAS/1918 RAF 1st Pattern Embroidered Cap Badge and band.
A scarce padded example of the pattern of badge as worn by the RNAS and then adopted on the formation of the RAF until phased out by the introduction of metal RAF badges. Red embroidery on black, with complete original cap band which it is sewn on to.
Condition very good.
