This particularly fine photograph of nine fighter pilots of 3 Squadron Royal Flying Corps and Royal Air Force(Sopwith Camel’s). Six pilots wearing a variety of RAF/RAF tunics, with pilots wings and two pilots clearly wearing American uniforms with American pattern wings. To the reserve of the photo are the names of the pilots:

Top left to right; Hamilton, Mayls, McIntyre, Hamilton (Lieut L A Hamiliton 10 victories. 5 with 17 Aero), Lee.

Bottom row: Boyd, Maclin, Hubbard (Capt W Hamilton 10 victories), Lipton.

It should be relatively easy to work out who each of these pilots are and their service.

Photograph in postcard format, size approximately 9 x 14cm.
