Full medal write up
A WW2 Flying Helmet Group, consisting of a Fleet Air Arm ‘C’ Type Flying Helmet, which is fully wired, both internally and externally, with its original doughnuts. An ‘H’ type oxygen mask and Mark VIII goggles. All zips, studs, wiring loom, rubbers and the lining in very good service worn condition. Helmet itself is supple but does have some flaking to leather finish but has no damage of splits. The Oxygen mask is in excellent condition and the goggles are too bar a crack on right side window within the lamination.
