27 original postcard photos of WW1 German soldiers wearing pickelhaubes and shako’s. Various states represented, guard and marines, ersatz types etc. Also two photos wearing capts; one death heads hussars, the other looks like Friekorps. A most interesting photo of soldiers on parade with a variety of pickelhaubs with a mix of Prussian and guard helmet plates and a mix of leather helmets and ersatz; felt and tin types both black painted and field grey. Some of the photos posted with writing to reverse.
