PORTRAIT PHOTO OF BOER WAR ERA AUSTRLIAN SOLDIER AND PARIS

This large 18 x 12.5cm oval photo of an Australian Soldier circa 1902. Soldier wears a medal ribbon and although faint, the buttons worn are Edward VII Australian Commonwealth buttons.

Condition of photo is good and is card backed having clearly originally been in a frame. There is a little staining which could probably be removed, a crack in the photo where it has been bent and little damage to the photo edges where the frame was. However it would frame up nicely again.

A scarce and attractive photo of an Australian soldier for this period.
