SEE PDF FOR FULL WRITEUPDossett group: star/contact wear, naming worn in places and suspension post re-affixed, thus fine, mainly around edges 8/9 and 3/4 o’clock. This group has clearly been proudly worn many a time. However you’d be had pushed to get a better citation for these battles, indeed many of the citations no longer exist. Sold with 13 photographs (a mixture of military and family, some annotated, most in post card form) relating to the recipient’s son Lance-Corporal R. G. Dossett. One annotated by recipient.
Tebbitt group: GVF, light marks from Star. Sold with copies from the Regimental History, copy photographs etc. A rarely seen York and Lancs Company Commander’s medal for El-Teb-Tamai and one of two officers awarded the Order of the Medjidie.
An outstanding pair of groups to N.C.O. and his Captain both connected via D.C,M, recommendation for the battle of Tamai.
