SOUTH AFRICA 1877-9, DISC ONLY ‘TPR A. W. BRODIE, LONSDALES HORSE’
Lonsdales Horse were formed into four Troops and three of these took part in the second invasion under Maj General Crealock's I Division. After the Battle of Ulundi two troops served with Colonel Clarke's column (C and D Troops) and one troop with Lt Colonel Baker Russell (B Troop). B Troop took part in the capture of the fugitive Zulu King.
Condition; medal has been brooch mounted and has various EK’s.
