TO JAGER MEDALS & MILITARIA. British and Worldwide Medals and Militaria bought and sold. As well as dealing full time, I've been a collector myself for 30 plus years and put a particular emphasis on quality and research of anything I stock.
My rates for commission sales start from 10%, no sale, no fee. I do my own research and if I find anything that adds value to your item, I charge nothing extra! I offer excellent rates for full/part exchanges on items from my stock and layaways are also available on higher priced items.
I have been a keen collector of medals and WW1 aviation militaria since my first purchase of an 80th Foot South Africa 1879 medal in 1983, from Derek Johnson militaria. After working as a sculptor of model soldiers for several years, I set up my own business ‘Jager Miniatures in the late 1990’s; a company in which I produced model soldiers and WW1 aircraft kits.
Justin Young - Director
As with most collectors, I have always had to sell when I wished to purchase something new. For me, eventually this becoming much more successful than the model company, so in early 2002 I closed Jager Miniatures to concentrate on militaria sales and research. Since then I’ve worked very closely with Wingnut Film Productions Ltd in New Zealand on the WW1 aviation side of things and after years of selling through contacts and word of mouth, my first Jager Medals and Militaria website went live in 2009.
The opportunity to research new pieces has become more and more of a passion. As such I try and buy stock that I find interesting or has plenty of research potential.
