WW1 Royal flying Corps Observers brevet. White embroidered on black wool.This wing belonged to the same observer as the two other wings, and cap badge/collar badges that are newly listed also The owner was and infantry Officer, serving in Egypt/Sinai, from 1916, before joining the Royal Flying Corps in April 1917, where he served with 14 Squadron, again Middle East. He was posted back to the Infantry in Feb/March, serving in the UK/France. He did not join the RAF, hence these wings certainly RFC.
Wing in very good condition. Has been removed from tunic, so a little frayed at edges and traces of brown thread used to attach to tunic.
